About Sarah:
I began my interpreting career in DC in 1994 after a semester at Gallaudet University while an undergraduate. I returned to Gallaudet for a master's degree and have lived mostly in the area ever since. I am nationally certified by RID with two generalist certifications (CI, CT) and one specialist certification (SC: Legal). In addition to being a member of RID, I am a member of our local chapter (PCRID) as well as the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), the American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB), and the National Alliance of Black Interpreters (NAOBI-associate). I specialize in conference, theatre and legal work and in ASL to English interpretation.
